Ansi
The always-on Anslation companion
A lightweight background agent for macOS and Windows. It powers AnsTracker’s Live Browser with real windows and precise fingerprints, and keeps a secure localhost bridge for the whole Anslation workspace.
Native power the browser can’t reach
Real Live Browser windows
Drop-in for AnsTracker’s live-browser agent: it opens native browser windows with the exact user-agent, locale, timezone, device metrics, and per-session proxy your test was configured with.
A secure localhost bridge
A 127.0.0.1-only service lets the Anslation web app and the Ansi extension detect the agent, hand off deep links, and receive notifications — locked to Anslation origins.
Always on, out of the way
Lives in your menu bar / system tray with no dock clutter. Starts with your computer and stays active in the background, ready the moment you need it.
You’re in control
Pause the bridge, toggle start-at-login, close all live windows, or quit — from the tray menu or the status panel. Everything runs locally on your machine.

The Ansi mark appears in the menu bar. It starts automatically on future logins.
Builds are currently unsigned while code-signing certificates are set up, so your OS shows a new-publisher prompt on first launch. Verify the download against the published checksums.

The Ansi Control Center is your super-user cockpit: live status, session and cost metrics, a streaming activity log, and every setting — pause, start-at-login, notifications, idle, and closing live windows. It runs entirely locally, binding only to 127.0.0.1.
