No account is needed to ask Ansi. Sign in when you want your conversation history and saved work kept with your account.

Asking without an account
Anyone can open Ansi and ask. Signed-out visitors get answers; their conversation history is not kept.
Keep your history
Sign in and Ansi loads your conversation history. Work you keep, like a question you want to return to, is associated with your account so you can find it again; that is the only reason it persists.
Closing your account
You can ask Anslation to delete your personal information, including by closing your account, through the contact page. Where the law requires a record to be kept, it will be, and information removed from live systems can persist in backups until they cycle out.
